Biography
Courtney Downman was introduced to glass three years ago after enrolling in the Craft and Design program at Sheridan College. Courtney works primarily with blown glass and has also set up her own flameworking and glass fusing studio. She has been recognized by Sheridan College with four awards and was selected for a Student Summer Residency Scholarship at Harbourfront Centre in 2014. Courtney has just finished working for the past year as a Teaching assistant at Sheridan College and is currently working a project based residency at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, ON.
Courtney Downman is represented by Sandra Ainsley Gallery, located in Toronto, the leading contemporary glass art gallery in Canada.
